This charger is quite similar to the 100w Baseus GaN charger I purchased earlier. Comparing the two, the Baseus has a power indicator light while this one doesn't. The Baseus is slightly taller than the Haycide, but it does not stick out as much. They both have non-polarized plugs placed on the top so they would not block most U.S.-based power plugs. It's clear to see that this product was meant to be released for the Chinese market since the prongs themselves do not have the characteristic two holes that you would see in most American-based electronics. That said, it does not affect the snugness of the plug or the fit. It is also universal voltage so it does not matter if you used this adapter in China or in the U.S. The Baseus has 2 USB-C ports while the Haycide has 3. They both support the same types of quick charge protocols, and both of the adapter's chipsets respect USB-C's power limitations. That is, for a 100w port, you must use a 5A capable cable in order to get a 20v/5A PDO advertisement. Some cheaper chargers out there do not actively check what kind of cable is being used, and would advertise 5A regardless (which can cause a cable to overheat and potentially be hazardous). Both the Baseus and the Haycide will limit current to 3A (60w) if a non-eMarked cable is used (which is the standard). One big difference between the two chargers besides the physical appearance is that the Baseus manages its power in a grouping of 1, while the Haycide manages power in two distinct groups (these are the white oval indicators on the front of the charger.) While for most users this won't make a difference, for some the difference may be crucial. This is because whenever a new device is plugged into the group, the charger will reset all the ports in the group so that the available power to each port can be recalculated (e.g. the USB-C ports will announce less power when more devices are plugged in or the USB-A ports will not allow quick charging). For phones, tablets, or laptops, the reset doesn't make much of a difference although you will see that your device will stop charging for a second and then goes back to charging. For other devices like a USB travel router, the difference could be significant since on the Baseus plugging or unplugging any device will cause the router to momentarily lose power (hence reboot). If you are in a hotel and are relying on this for Internet access, this means you will lose Internet access every time you unplug something from the charger. Since the Haycide manages power in two groups, this means the USB-A port will not be reset as long as only the top two ports are used. This is quite convenient for my setup since I can use the top two ports to charge my laptop and my travel power pack (which I use to power my laptop on the go), and use the bottom USB-A port to power my travel router. I wouldn't then have to worry about my router rebooting every single time I unplug something, which is what makes the USB-A ports on the Baseus unusable.

One of my biggest frustrations as an IT guy is the need to carry around so many power adapters for various electronics that I carry around for personal and sometimes work purposes. This issue is made worse whenever I need to charge a number of my devices at the same time, but I don't have an ample amount of plugs to connect all of them to power. So I decided to look on Amazon to see if I could find a charger that should help remove a few of these adapters from my bag. I found this adapter and this little guy has been great so far. It has allowed me to carry a few less adapters in my gear bag, even one of my bigger adapters for my laptop. I've been able to charge my MacBook, and iPad Pro and my smartphone all at the same time without issue. Keep in mind that this power adapter has three USB-C ports and only one USB-A port. So if you need to charge multiple devices using a regular USB-A port, this won't work very well for you. Also, keep in mind that when charging multiple devices at the same time, the adapter will only provide a certain amount of power to each port to balance the power output. Overall, I'm impressed with this adapter I may buy another one to replace a few more of my adapters in the future.

Many times I see a review request or written before a product has fully used or tested. The review ends up have to be changed. Hence, I decided to write this review after enough time to fully used and tested this item. Well, this 100W USB charger has exceeded my expectations. After almost 4 months of usage, it is has and still functioning well. It was able to provide fast charge to 3 iPhones and an iPad. It even can handle the charge for my 14" MacBook Pro without problem. I know the charge to the MacBook Pro computer was slower when I have all 4 ports connected as compare to the stand alone 60W Apple MacBook Pro charger. But that was expected. Overall, I am happy with the performance of this product,

Works great, dosent overheat. I got a used galaxy A51 and the original cheapo QC charger they sent overheated and died. So I bought a inexpensive 2 pack of a 4 port cube, with 1 QC port, they both stopped charging fast after a month. So I did some searching, and the reviews were good for this one, even though they are new and don't offer a warranty. Iv been using it for about a month. If it's lasts I would definitely recommend this product. It stays cool and quickly charges multiple devices at the same time, plus a laptop. Will update when and if it breaks or stops fast charging.

When it comes to anything usb PD, weight/mass density most deffinately translates directly into quality with the multiple products I've tried. This one is the best value I have found yet, and was a "I'm feeling lucky" type of purchase 100% for me that I fully expected to be unimpressed by... quite the contrary though. Fully tested and there isn't a single listed output or capability on the sellers page that this charger did not meet, not did it ever get physically HOT to the touch with a full 100watt load on it, like all the 65 watt versions ive tried and a couple 100 watter's as well. Grade A product with grade A internals obviously. Will be buying again to have a spare for my suitcase. Not great for maybe a purse because of the pure density of this quality product tho is the only thing I can say. Maybe just stick to a vompact 65watt version for the females or something 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️ very impressed 🤨👍
